Womens Day Celebration

Each year, we hold a celebration for womens day where we invite women from several of the communities in which we work to gather together to sing songs, play games, exchange gifts, and celebrate their womanhood.

25 sessions - 200+ girls engaged since 2018
This initiative seeks to educate young women on the menstrual cycle and how to care for themselves this time of month. Female team members host daytime and overnight sessions in girls dorms, community centers, and at our office where they educate young women in a judgement free environment.
Mahila Vikas Karyakram
20 women - 2 groups formed since 2021
We help village women to organize self help groups, and train them on financial management as well as government schemes which could help them. After trainings, womens groups have engaged in communal saving activities such as grain banks and loans.
